Play as smoke:
1) Start rotating the controller clockwise at the "Prepare for Kombat" screen when you turn the game on. Continue rotating the controller until a Kode screen appears.
2) At the Kode screen, hit the R1 button once, the Triangle and X buttons 6 times, and the Circle 9 times. Shang Tsung will say "Excellent" and when you start the game, Smoke will be in the middle of the character select screen.
Cheat menu:
1) To get to the cheat menu, press the following buttons in this order: X, L1, L2. You will hear a chime if it worked. (Or at the MK# copyright screen, press X, R1, R2, Start. Then at the title screen, rotate the Kube to the "?" and press Start)
2) Then, when you're in the Options Menu, go to Kombat option and press up on the D-pad. This will give you a menu with the following cheats:
1. Unlimited Continues
2. Select Smoke
3. Unlimited time for fatalities
4. Stage Select
3) After performing the code in step 1 & 2 above, you can get other options by entering the following: X, Circle, Triangle, R1, R1, R2, R2, R1, R1. Shang Tsung will say "You will never win!" Go to same cheat menu as before and there will be two new options.
