To get a haunted hotel first, buy a Cute Ghost Picture (1000 dollars). Then put it in the manager suite and admire it. Finally go out to the lobby there should be a ghost flying around. (look everywhere: on the stairs, in the walls)

Fuel Rods and Squirt Guns
Don\'t use the water in your water gun, not on fires or aliens or anything, cause you\'ll need it to squirt Lord Mole
Start collecting feul rods fom day 1, try and make sure you have at least 20 by the time Optium Alfread Comes.
Build all rooms fast as possible to save money, you will get a lot because you won\'t have to spend on building rooms.
